All LBL surface-mounted transformers are encased in a satin nickel finish metal housing and mount to any standard ceiling electrical box. Typically, a surface-mounted transformer is used when an accessible location above the ceiling or in a utility closet is unavailable for installing a remote transformer. The transformer includes a unique 36 coaxial feeder (shortenable at the time of installation) with a braided steel outer jacket that complements the rail system- if shortened, the feeder appears similar to a solid satin nickel straight stem. 12V 150W output. For dimming, a magnetic low voltage dimmer (sold separately) is required. 6 diameter X 3H.
